Sunday, Novr. 16th 1941. (Wind S.E. moderate breeze, Sea moderate) – about 23.00 hours called out to attend Rocket Apparatus - afterwards proceeded to Marsden to look for vessel reported to as drifting ashore. Searched coast (assisted by Soldiers stationed near) without result
Monday, Novr. 17th about 01.30 hours – informed that vessel was believed to have been aground on Whitburn Steel and afterwards got off. Apparatus returned to house about 02.15 hours.
