S.S. Anna ran ashore on leaving harbour in front of duty room at 19.45 in foggy weather. Wm. Harris, C.G. proceeded to scene of casualty and found tugs where in attendance and required no other assistance. Vessel refloated by the aid of tugs and tide at 05.50 next morning 27-12-42. Tynemouth M.L.B. and all other Authorities informed.
